You Know How I Feel, Drifting On By ..

Start off by saying: Watch The Throne November 29th, 2011 Kansas City, MO. I loved Watch The Throne I'm obligated and willing enough to say that it was the Album of the Year. Lol. That is all of that matter.

Now..
EVERYBODY KNOWS how I feel about this subject. For those of you who don't know me very well. KanYe West is my favorite rapper & will always be. The struggles, the glory all of it is what makes me love him in every way. Been with him since College Dropout to Late Registration and so on. People alwayyysss say he's fell off he's not the same artist he used to be. Look where he's been. Look at the facts, look at the pain, look at him as a man. He's been everywhere you've been and he's changed and grown every step of the way. Some people say 808's was his worst work, I feel like it's up there with some of his greatest work. Lose your mom and your lady and see what you produce after that. I give him the benefit of the doubt just because of that. You can't really say that's his worst, it was a different style we just WEREN'T wanting to here. We expected to see some of the "normal" Kanye as usual. People change, style change, SOCIETY is changing. If he was smart, which he is, he's doing exactly what we want to hear; about the Glory, the Glamour, The Life. It's almost like once you get to a point in your career you just feel like you can say what you want, which is what alot of artist end up doing. I hate when people throw rocks on his name like he's not one of the greatest. Where did we all get this sense of style? When did STYLE even matter? If it wasn't for Ye none of us would have even checked into fashion industry. Let's all just accept the fact that He's the man. Lol. People know I can go on and on, compare a artist that's doing something know and I will have something to say. I just feel like you can't compare alot of the greats because they're all great for being THEM. If they were all doing the same thing then we could debate, but to compare Drake to Kanye? *drops mic and walks off stage*

The greatly anticipated Ambition has finally made it to stores, and I am very pleassseddd. I get excited listening to it. He always has had the flow to catch our attention. I just don't think we appreciated it with the first album he came out with. But since then his Mixtapes have been great. From More About Nothing to The Eleven One Eleven Theory. Maybe he just needed that new label (MMG) to boost that confidence. Lol. Who knows but with that being said, Clap for Em! Hats off to Wale, this is greatness. 2011 has been a good year for music.

Look What You've Done

When you lose someone alot of people take it deep and some don't take it at all .. It all depends on the person I think. When I lost apart of me it wasn't as big of a deal to me, because I didn't know of the influence; but I knew (does that make sense?) When I was younger grief and sadness affected me but it didn't in a sense. I probably don't make alot of sense but to me this is as clear as I can get. I wasn't as hurt as I am now. The lost of a parent is always hard, close or not. To know that someone that produced you, raised or not hurts. You'll never get to see them again, never have them console you, family gatherings never the same.. When you need them, where do you turn? It all depends on how you cope with it.  Some people tell me you can tell that something has happened to you that greatly impacted you. Someways I can see that, I've probably changed into a totally different person, but I can never tell because how was I? I hadn't even known was sex was when it happened. So how could you know how I've truly changed. My thoughts aren't the same, because I've grown up. I can't honestly tell you any part of my thinking process as a kid. Point of this was to just get some thoughts out as I listen to the song on Drake's new album Take Care called "Look What You've Done". In my interpretation he's just going on memories of his past with his family more importantly his mother and how he's great full of everything she's done for him. & I was thinking the same thing, you never know the impact someone has on you as greatly until they're gone in my opinion, only because you look back at all the things they taught you and all the things you shared with them, and it just hits that you'll never get that again.. Dust.

For those who don't know, and for those who do know but don't really know. Lol. My names Kay, I've created and recreated about 5 Blogs now. Names Vary, depending on the mood I'm in. I'm pretty content with the name I have now. I have a blog on Tumblr; not really in my daily usage I have to add. But just a little bit about me, I'm a undergrad at U of Missouri relatively known as Mizzou. Studying Business Marketing, aspiring marketer or strategic designer at the wealthiest company in America right now Apple. The quote I have at the beginning of my little "spill" is that I've started a blog with two different people, one my ex and one my homie from High School. But now I think I'm ready to stand alone and work with this one out on my own. Soo now down to the nitty gritty, I've started this blog to inform you about a lot of things. First, Me; of course you care about me thats why you're reading. Second, music, I wish I could play music as much as I listen to it; but I'll basically try to inform you on the new music and my likes and dislikes. Third, a little wisdom sometimes; I'm a firm believer in God and hard work (I Sound Country) so I might bless you time to time with some encouraging words. Lastly, my creations, my artwork, my soul. The thing that mainly makes me, me will be posted variously on the blog, so just stay up to date on what I do and you'll get a sense of my personality.
